Combi USA Recalls Stroller and Car Seat Combos for Fall Hazard


Combi USA has issued a recall for 1,000 Combi Shuttle model strollers and car seats after determining the product pose a fall hazard to children.
Details of the Combi Stroller and Car Seat Recall
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) states the car seat can disengage from the stroller’s frame unexpectedly, causing infants to fall.
Consumers who have purchased the combo set should stop using the strollers with the car seats attached. They may contact Combi for a free repair.
The CPSC does note the consumers can continue using the strollers and car seats separately.
Description of the Recalled Stroller and Car Seat Combos
The following information was provided by the CSPC:
- The recalled strollers and car seats with have the model number 6100027 or 6100100 printed on a label on the base of the car seat and on the stroller’s leg.
- The products were sold in two colors: titanium (silver) and red chili (red)
- “Combi” can be found printed on the front of the strollers and car seats, and “Shuttle” is printed above the model number.
- Recalled units were sold through Amazon.com, BabiesRUs.com, Target.com, and other online retailers from June 2015 through September 2015.
