Thomas J. Henry Proud to Present Wings Over South Texas Air Show
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX Mar. 20, 2017 – Thomas J. Henry his proud to present the 2017 Wings Over South Texas Air Show. Every year, Thomas J. Henry partners with the Naval Air Station to bring the high-flying thrills of the Wings Over South Texas Air Show to Corpus Christi. The popular event designed to welcome people onto military installations and naval air installations.
This year’s event to scheduled is to run for two days and will feature aerial demonstrations by favorites, including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the Golden Knights, Jerry Conley, Rob Holland, and the Trojan Phlyers. Attendees will also be treated to a U.S. Air Force F-16 demonstration as well as a Search and Rescue demonstration by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Beyond the aerial presentations, event-goers will also have access to the Rapid Strike simulator which immerses visitors in the high-tech world of the United States Air Force. The ride allows visitors to experience rear world Air Force missions from a first person perspective. A kids zone will also be available for the events younger attendees.

ABOUT THE WINGS OVER SOUTH TEXAS AIR SHOW
The Wings Over South Texas Air Show is an annual event celebrating the U.S. Navy. 2017 in particular honors the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway. All proceeds from this event go to the Navy MWR Fund which supplies morale, welfare, and recreation for free to the brave sailors serving our country.
Over 90,000 guests attend this event each year and that number continues to grow. Visitors to the Air Show are treated to fantastic performances by the military and civilians and children also participate in a special air show Pep Rally to help kick off each show. In fact, many of the guests go to the event just to see the Blue Angels perform!
ABOUT THE BLUE ANGELS
The Blue Angels’ mission is to enhance Navy and Marine Corps recruiting efforts and to represent the naval service to the United States, its elected leadership, and foreign nations. The Blue Angels serve as positive role models and goodwill ambassadors for the U. S. Navy and Marine Corps.
A Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators. It includes the graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-plane Diamond Formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of its two Solo Pilots. Finally, the team illustrates the pinnacle of precision flying, performing maneuvers locked as a unit in the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation. Since its inception in 1946, the Blue Angels have performed for more than 427 million fans.
